Renvel is a workspace where AI colleagues do work for your company. This page says what we keep, why, who helps us run it, and how to delete it.
Renvel is run by Renvel ("we"). You can write to us at support@renvel.ai.
What we keep
We keep only what the product needs to work:
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture, from the way you signed in (email, Apple or Google).
- Your workspace: the company name, website, language, time zone, the rooms and colleagues you set up, and the people you invite.
- What you and your colleagues write and make: chats, messages, files you attach, documents, company memory, reports, routines and apps with their records.
- Links to Telegram, Slack and iMessage that you set up: a scrambled form of your address, a short label, and the messages sent through those links.
- Your iPhone: a push token to send you notifications, and a token for Live Activities. Your microphone and camera are used only while you talk or take a photo.
- Usage: which AI model answered, how many words it read and wrote, and what it cost. We use this for limits and bills.
- Payments: what was bought, when, the amount and its status.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads.
We do not track you across other apps or websites. The app has no advertising or analytics tools.
We do not use your workspace to train AI models, and the AI providers we use do not train on it under their business terms.
Why we keep it
To run the product: to answer you, to do the work you ask for, to remember your company between conversations, to deliver messages and notifications, and to keep your workspace safe.
To keep it working: to find and fix failures, to stop abuse, and to set limits so one workspace cannot run up costs for another.
To bill a paid plan, where you have one.
Who helps us run Renvel
These companies process data for us, only to provide their part of the service:
- xAI, Anthropic and OpenAI: the AI models that read your requests and write answers. OpenAI also runs voice.
- Convex: our database and file storage.
- Render and Vercel: the servers that run Renvel and the apps colleagues build.
- WorkOS: sign-in and workspace membership.
- E2B and Browserbase: the computers and browsers colleagues use to do work.
- Composio: connections to the apps you choose to connect, such as email or a calendar. Those accounts' keys are held by Composio, not by us.
- Exa, Monid and treg: web search and outside data that colleagues look up.
- Photon (iMessage), Telegram and Slack: when you link them, messages pass through them.
- Apple and Expo: push notifications to your iPhone.
- Click, Payme, Stripe and Whop: payments, on the website.
Where it is stored
Our servers and database are in the United States. Using Renvel means your data is sent there.
How long we keep it
As long as your account and workspace exist, unless you delete it sooner.
Short records of sensitive actions (who approved what, who deleted what) are kept for 90 days, then deleted.
Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Backups of the database are kept for up to 30 days, then overwritten.
AI providers may keep requests for up to 30 days to detect abuse, under their own terms, then delete them.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings › Account › Delete account. On the web: Settings › Account › Delete account. It takes effect at once and cannot be undone.
Your account, sign-ins and connected apps are removed at once. Your private chats, devices, links and settings are removed within minutes.
A workspace only you are in is deleted with everything in it. If other people use a workspace you own, you choose: hand it to one of them, or delete it for everyone. Messages you posted in shared rooms stay with the workspace, like the rest of its work.
We keep one short record that the account was deleted, for 90 days, and payment records as described above.
If you cannot sign in, write to support@renvel.ai and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can see, correct, download or delete your data. Most of it is in the app; for the rest, write to us.
We answer within 30 days.
Children
Renvel is a tool for work and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly keep data about children.
Security
Data is encrypted on its way to and from Renvel. Each workspace can see only its own data, and each chat only its owner. Colleagues ask before sensitive actions.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we tell you in the app first.
